    Question Word/Outlook problems

    Hi folks

    Newbie to forum and have to say great place to browse through with the help offered...

    Problem I'm having is with Office XP or to be particular Word and Outlook

    If I'm working within Outlook and try to open Word to create a document Word fails to intialize every time??????

    No entry in process manager, nothing at all...

    However Word is set as my mail editor within Outlook and works fine if I create a new mail message...???!!!!

    Has anyone ever coem across this prob before, and if so really could do with a hand to sort it out as it's drivin me nuts!!!!

    Using Office XP Pro running on W2K machine with SP3

    Any pointers would be great folks as losin my marbles over this one.

    Very interesting. All I can say is that I have the exact same setup and it worked fine for me when I just tried to replicate your situation. Sorry I couldn't help.
