ADD THE Merriam Webster dictionary to your browser

    GET THE BROWSER ADD ON
Looking up words on the web just got easier with the Merriam-Webster Dictionary Lookup Button!

Add this helpful tool to the toolbar of your internet browser. Then, highlight any word in a Web page, click the button, and a dictionary entry of the word will appear. It's free and easy to install. Just follow the instructions below.
I have this on CD and it is handy. I thought I'd share the browser tool with you all, as it can help when you want to look up the meaning of a word and its uses as well as spelling.

Is there a link missing here to direct us to software or web site?

Well I have the Merriam WEbster dictionary, full deal on CD, and I use the built in dictionary add on in my internet explorer. You have to follow the directions on that page to get the dicitionary into your links toolbar. Once in the links toolbar, you can then click on the word dictionary and type in the word you wanna look up,
hope that helps you figure it out Conan.

Make sure that the Links toolbar is visible. (Right click on toolbar and make sure that eLinksf is checked.)
Drag this Dictionary link onto the Links toolbar. A dictionary button should appear on the Links toolbar with a Microsoft Internet Explorer icon.
(As you drag the link, you will see a circle with a line through it until you reach a point on the toolbar that is next to an already existing button. When you see a thick black vertical line where you want the button to go, you can drop the link.)

To replace the Microsoft Internet Explorer default icon with a Merriam-Webster icon (optional), follow these steps:
It also gives you instructions for changing the default IE icon, to the merriam webster icon!
