MSIE 6 records most (but not all) of the sites I visit

How does this function work or how is it supposed to? I ask because while most sites I visit get recorded (or remembered) in that when I click the down arrow of the MSIE address bar they are listed, some sites simply are not.

Is there some checkbox I likely need to set or what? I'm runningr XP.

I guess you'll only find the most recent ones by clicking the address bar.

However, you can find the URL of any visited page whether listed or not by typing its first letters in the address bar.

e.g. right now I can see only one URL belonging to TZ by in the address bar's list, but if I type "t" or "te"... in the address bar it automatically shows me 18 pages that I've recently visited belonging to TZ. Hope I've explained properly Let me know if it's still confusing.

Nope, you were clear! I had never really picked up that all I had to do was type in the first few letters.

I like the little picture you've posted. I'd be interested in why you picked it; why you like it.

The picture off to the left of the text in both your posts, underneath where it says "Platinum member", above the words "Join Date"

Please don't misunderstand me, but I'm really surprised that being a member of this great forum for over 2 years and currently at your 411th post, you still don't know it's called an avatar. BTW, you know how to use one for yourself, right?

Yes, I have a hotmail account but [email protected] was picked when I tried for it so I had to add a number after it. I even tried [email protected] but it was taken as well.

Nope, missed out on not-knowing what an avatar was. Never bothered to get into how to make one, didn't have a picture that reflected how I saw me, so that's how it happened. For that matter it was a small shock to find out I joined 2 years ago. Now that's UNREAL!

you are one of the brave ones who still use internet explorer after reading all the awefull posts the members here have posted about how easy you can get spyware installed just by visiting compromised websites or viewing ad's created for agencies that need to know your surfing habits and like to collect your and all your buddies email addresses for a spam list.

    BTW

I thought that internet explorer displays the url's from your favorites folder when you type a letter in the url.
