Ok sorry if this has been posted before, I wasn't sure how to search for it and I browsed the first few pages and didn't see anything similiar....


so here is my problem, recently, I think this started happening two days ago, when I have a bunch of browser windows open (which I do alot, esp If I'm doing research) every once in a while, after I click on a link they will all close. It is really frustrating! Especially tonight, I am doing research for a paper and I have to open up my school's library page, and then login with this barcode # and then navigate to the research port (basically I can't just go into my history and find where I was b/c I have to log in and navigate to it through the school's site) Just now I only had about three windows open but I've had many more open at one time, so it's not like it's a limit issue. It's happened three times tonight.


ANYWAY does anyone know what causes this?

I am on Windows Xp and using IE version 6.
