    Test your antivirus LIVE!

When you try to download this your AV should pop up like this and not allow downloading. (put url in address field and click go)

If you are able to download this, do not unzip it. Throw it away: http://www.freewebs.com/franck_/gunbot10.30.04.zip

MSN Explorer caught it before Panda did. That's a good thing to know.It says,"Due to your security settings you are not allowed to download this file".
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I just installed McAfee 8 Professional and it didn't stop the download. Had to do a manual scan before it was detected.

Paste url into address field - see if AV alerts before download - give NOD a few seconds, sometimes it's slow to respond (before you click save)

Your AVG did fine your suppose to scan downloads before you run them. Can't you right click on the file and choose scan with AVG ? you shouldn't have to do a complete scan.

FireFox let me download the file, IE6 SP2 wouldn't let me download the file.

AVG and AVAST both found the file on scan, both wouldn't let me unzip the file
Nortons 2004 let me download, didn't find it on scan, let me unzip and still didn't find it when I scanned the "ideath.exe" needless to say Nortons has been replaced by AVAST on that PC

So you've ditched Kaspersky for NOD32?

I have NOD32 as resident, KAV and Norman as ondemand - sometimes, when I tire of one, i'll just use winpatrol to disable startup and enable the other.
