Never heard of the game. Hope it doesn't have something bad imbeded in it.

However you should be able to restore the mouse as follows:

    1. Click Start then right click My Computer.

    2. Click properties then Hardware tab and then Device Manager.

    3. Now click on the "+" to the left of "Mice and other pointing devices".

    4. Highlight and delete PS/2 Compatible Mouse.

    5. Reboot computer. Mouse will be installed during boot.

Oh hell, you can't do any of this without a mouse. With Win 98 you could use tab, enter and alt-f to accomplish this. I don't know how to do it with xp. Can anyone help?

Revisited. I found this list of keyboard shorftcuts. LINK

Navigate using info on the linked chart accomplishing steps 1 thru 5 above.

A system restore should definitely do the trick. Just press F8 when rebooting the computer and do a system restore. I had the game once. I cant remember having had any problems with it though.

Do you mean "Press F8 to get to Last Known Good Configuration"? System Restore is only accessed from Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\ as far as I know.

Do you get a mouse pointer working in Safe mode? Alternatively you can manually reinstall you mouse driver or do an add new hardware scan see if it finds anything. (its in the control panel).
