Question Unable to type in text boxes in Firefox

I have run into a problem with Firefox 1.0. When I visit certain web pages, such as www.gamespot.com or www.gmail.com when I am viewing a page with a form on it, such as what I'm using right now to post this message, I cannot type in the text box. I can only copy and paste text into the text boxes.

Any idea why this is or how to fix it?

    Try uninstalling and reinstall Firefox.

Well, the thing is I don't have this problem when I use Mozilla. So, that leads me to believe it is something in Firefox.
