Question High density v. Low density RAM

Can someone explain to me the difference between high density RAM and low density RAM?

I've just come in contact with this "high density" term (in relation to memory) and I have no idea what it means.

Sorry to drag up an old thread but this one went unanswered.

I'll take a guess, and say that high density ram contains more numbers of chip modules on the unit compared to lower density ram. The more modules the higher the density.

It just means that the memory has more chips on the module.

That is just a guess based on what I read.
