2.Hanging application mmc.exe, version 5.1.2600.2180, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.

Read eggheads spyware thread http://www.techzonez.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9739 and go here http://www.synaptics.com/support/downloads.cfm and get the latest drivers for your touch pad.

All of these errors are dealing with processes within Windows. Suggest you try system restore.
    Linux Mint Debian Edition

Sounds good and so does XP Repair or format & clean install. Before you do that you should put your XP cd in your CD-Rom, open the Command Prompt and type sfc /scannow (note space between sfc & /) and let it replace your system files if they need be.

Also run Memtest 86 and make sure your ram is good.

The hang your talking about is most likely from your touch pad and this is the error 3.Faulting application syntpenh.exe, version 5.7.0.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x00018fea.
