    Compugeeks: ATA Versus SATA

Great article comparing ATA and SATA. Note: Comparison has been saved from an email, and pasted into a word document. You will need a compatible program that can read .doc documents to view this file.

If you don't have word installed, you can use the word viewer for free:

What he failed to state is that in the real world the theoretical transfer rate of SATA 150 is never reached. You'd be lucky to get half!

yep Conan hit the nail on the head seems like we're all stuck in a technological hole, the only thing that sells is the hype

Video cards improved by leaps & bounds with every new release, now they're even stuck in the hype of PCI-e when 8X AGP isn't even much of an improvement over 4X AGP.

What ever happened to the solid state transistorized HD's they were working on a few years ago ? they were suppose to be our savior.

The mother boards must suck or something ?????
