look for me in the participants
Since it is 4PM to 5 PM here, I will be at work. I will put on the headphones, and avoid support calls for the hour

you mean the slides? Yes, but in a streaming format with the audio only, meaning you can't print them. If you want a print copy of the slides you have to assist to the web cast (you can save the slides in pdf format).
I usually save a copy of each webcast I assist. I usually register to a lot of them, but for work related reasons (because I am working ) Sometimes I cannot log in to the webcast. What time is in Australia at 4 PM EST? C'mom man, wake up and participate

well, if you log in at the time of the webcast not only can you see the slides, and hear the presenter, but you can also make questions, and read questions that are answered during the webcast presentation. I find it more rewarding to assist to the live presentation than to a recording

nop. It is offered thru Live meeting, but it just needs an ActiveX installed. If you register for one, you actually get an email with a link to test the connection so you can download the component if needed.
    Firefox doesn't support ActiveX right?

    Here it is
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE THE WEBCAST:

    1. Test your browser. To do so, visit this link: http://esd.placeware.com/wintest, enter your name and click the "Begin Test Now" button. Please allow the test webcast some time to fully load. Once the webcast has been initialized, you should see a slide area with three revolving slides. If you are able to see these slides, you have successfully tested your configuration!

    2. Download and test the IN Technologies audio player. To do so, click this link: http://esd.placeware.com/voip then click "Install Now" and follow the instructions provided to you. Ensure that your speakers or headphones are on and adjust your volume to a comfortable level.

If you are not able to see the slides on your system while testing your browser, or you have difficulty downloading the IN Technologies audio player, please contact Event Support:

    Live Meeting EVENT SUPPORT:
    +1 971.544.3222 or 1.800.893.8779
Or you can email Live Meeting Event Support at eventsup@microsoft.com well in advance of the event.

i dont think Firefox will run it correctly.

i hope this is good.. i've never done any of these webcasts before.
