Why can an image look better on a monitor than on a print-other

    Other sample questions:

How are a pixel and a dot different (not your standard answer)

Why were cyan, yellow and magenta chosen to be (along with black) to be the 3 ink colors used in the majority of printers.

For that matter, why were red, blue and green chosen as the 3 colors for forming all colors on a monitor.

I've created my own website...a collection of moving, sad and happy and humorous poems which I would like to share with others. They come from stories my dad used to tell me when I was a kid. If you could glance at my site and if you know of others who might enjoy it and perhaps tell them of it, I would be most appreciative. Thank you. Well, thank you, cash_site! Nice to know you found the stuff interesting; appreciate you taking the time to let me know.

But your avatar has your head cut off! ????? And that blonde is pretty! (Hope it's OK to post a comment like that last one here--that's it's not too "uncomputerlike") If not OK, wouldl you let me know please?

No probs wumply, just keep it on the down-low, else rev wont be happy...

Oh, yes... the head is cut-off... didnt notice

On topic, i always like the explanations of the image stuff... did some R&D with image sensors and sometimes its hard to find the straight answers...
