Where does Firefox put temporary internet files from Windows Media Player?
The file it plays says 'mms.345.456.78.78 and ends in wmv
I don't even know if it's a webpage. I copy and paste it in New Tab. It automatically starts playing in Windows Media Player. I would like to save it to my PC permanently.

Assuming you're accessing this from a link on another page, right-click the link and take the: "Save link as" option.

It's not a link.

Veronica, I'm not sure if this will do it in every case, but I've saved media to my computer by going to Tools-Page Info and then you'll see a Media Tab. You can scroll through the list and find the wmv, swf ....whatever you're looking for and use the Save as button.
