    What's your favourite text-editor?

Taking inspiration from this thread, I'd like to ask to the TZ members: what's your favourite text-editor?

At the moment my favourite is Notepad++, a scintilla-based open-source editor for Windows that supports the multilanguage functionality and auto-completion.

I have gone to AbiWord for everything. It is small enough to load quickly and it is a full blown Word Processor with spell check and advanced formatting.

I used to use UltraEdit during uni. Vim is also quite handy.
