I looked at the screenshots sometime ago too and it looks like the browser layout isnt too clean. They went overboard in an attempt to make it look good.
Also how come its a 11mb basic DL file if its based on FF code?

Maybe a ressurection of a good version of Netscape.Based on Firefox it can't go wrong.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Is there Netscape AIM in 8.0??

Searched around but couldnt find anything on that. Netscape'll have updates so itll probably be safe.Originally Posted by egghead
A source close to development told BetaNews Netscape 8 will be upgraded to Firefox 1.0.1 before the final release. The source also noted that because most of the phishing sites with Internationalized Domain Names are blocked through blacklists, the Firefox vulnerabilities are not as relevant to Netscape 8.Originally Posted by tarun

I will keep my little firefox
I was tossing up whether to install it or not...
Decided not since Firefox does the job. I think Netscape 8 looks quite good though.
