    Win 98 and Yahoo, problems

Anyone know of an issue with win 98 and yahoo ?

Seems like every other time I go to yahoo mail, my system locks up.
Can't even do ctrl-alt-del, have to hit the switch.

Is this a known problem ? any fixes ?

Exclamation Win98, Firefox and Yahoo! Mail

I have the exact situation. I have deleted all user directories related to Mozilla, Netscape and Firefox, uninstalled, deleted the program directory and reinstalled a couple three times.

At best, I can last a short while in Yahoo! Mail before it locks up. It use to be that it would lock up two pages into it. It used to lock up while loading a page. The last time was while I was composing a mail message (about 15 minutes into a lengthy one of course ) and not while a page was loading. Hmmmmm.....

The only thing remaining to do is to tweak the registry. I'm not willing to do that unless someone can point to a specific entry to tweak.

    Is that someone here?

wow....didn't think win98 was still floating around out there...used to love it...but now XP rocks....when I had 98, I kept it as simple as possible...found less problems that way....but still got the damn BSOD.
