    Mozilla Firefox 1.0.2 Final

Firefox is a free, open-source and cross-platform web browser for Windows, Linux, MacOS X and other operating systems. It is small, fast and easy to use, and offers many advantages over other web browsers, such as the tabbed browsing and the ability to block pop-up windows.

Anyone using Xandros you need to run the firefox-installer from the downloaded gzip (from mozilla.org) and install to /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/ to update your installation as it doesn't automatically update from firefox 1 in Xandros. Of course you will need to be w00t, all settings should be retained in your home directory.
I'm using Windows 7 - you got a problem with that?

I've tried updating using the Update button but it usually causes havoc with my Extensions. I normally uninstall then install the latest version, then it runs without any glitches.

for whatever reason, the auto-update rarely works for me... so i just dl and install teh new one. it would seem i dont even need to uninstall the old versions.. it overwrites them.
