I traded in my previous bike,(K2 Model),which was 2 years old, -- RE:thread here -- and bought this one brand new last year (K4 model).

I've only done 400 miles on it so far because just after i bought it the weather took a turn for the worst,(typical British climate ),so it was covered up in the garage for about 5 months.

Top speed should be approx 160 - 165 mph and 0-60 in 3.5 secs.

I ride it to work, weather permitting of course.

I will gladly eat your dust if you pay for the plane ticket and shipping on my Norton, guess it takes a Yankee to appreciate a British bike.

Top speed should be approx 160 - 165 mph and 0-60 in 3.5 secs.
That would depend on the rider, my old arms= about 100-120 mph & 0-60 in 1 minute

Nice ride Reverend , drive safe cuz we want you around a while

Technically i'm supposed to still be running it in until the first service at 600 miles,so haven't opened it up fully yet.So far i've managed an indicated 142mph.

Yes your pic did upload, the reason it isn't thumbnailed is because .bmp is not a supported thumbnail format.

    Is that a CBR 6 or a Fireblade you've got ??

142 is about what I've gone on mine too, pretty scary!

I'm not sure what the 6 or Fireblade is... It's a 2001 CBR F4i, maybe we have different models in the US?

The last crotch rocket I had was a 1980 Honda F750,kept it until 1982 when my daughter was being born.I loved riding, but I was too crazy with it and didn't trust I'd be around too long for her upbringing. Now that I'm an old fart I still appreciate motorcycles, but believe it or not I like Harley's now mostly.Oh well, ride on,and remember people driving cars don't see you all the time.

Nice bikes guys. Over here, if we've got a bike running, we ride - rain or shine. Hell, I even ride in the snow, It doesn't hurt your face as much as rain.

Oooh, haha, yeah it's a 600. I'm not completely insane. I couldn't imagine what a 1000cc bike would be like. Or especially a 1300cc 'busa! The 600's are as insane as I would ever go for a crotch rocket.
