    Question hyperlinks in OE

Any idea, anyone, why hyperlinks in OE (laterst version) would cease to function? Which setting - and where - should I check? Thanks.

Edit: moved to "Internet Explorer/Outlook Express"

Go to Start > run and type in regsvr32 urlmon.dll and hit enter.(make sure you leave a space between regsvr32 and urlmon.dll )

When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, hit OK.

You might need to reboot first for the links to start working.

    Thumbs down not quite

mailto: links launch ok, but IE won't launch when clicking on a URL.

The status bar at the bottom of the screen shows 'working online' for a couple of seconds, and the full URL so you'd think IE is opening, but it does not.

    Any ideas, please?

    Many thanks.
