    Custom Theme/Shell Info Needed

For those of you who create themes/shells for XP, what programs do you use to create them, e.g. themexp, aston, and how did you learn how to create them. If you learned from a tutorial could you post a link.

I just wanted to start creating them a few days ago and that is why i ask.

Well, for msstyles you would use Stylebuilder.

If you want to create your own shell32 and/or other windows system files, it is very easy to use Resource Hacker then use Replacer to replace system files - nice thing about it is you can revert.

If you want to create icons or convert mac icons use Iconworkshop

To convert from sit format use Stuffit

I've never messed around with Aston.

I don't learn very well with tutorials or books. I have learned everything by just doing. If I stare at something long enough, eventually I will understand it.
