Looks sleek, but competition? Think again:
iPod shuffle nabs 58% of flash market

Apple's CFO also claimed that "Apple isn't feeling the competitive heat yet" in the digital media device market.

According to Apple's own figures, Apple boasts a 90 per cent share of the hard disk-based MP3 player market and 70 per cent of the digital music download market.
I know it hasn't been released yet, but I don't think it's going to give Apple much competition (though I hope it does )

I don't think of competion in terms of sales but in performance. I'm talking features - cool factor. People are like sheep, they buy whatever everyone else does. (I know, sheep don't shop)

    Very pleased with it.

Audio quality is good.Nice rich bass.

Transferring files to and from it is fast,(USB 2.0),via the software that comes with it or by simple "drag & drop" method.

Battery life is good.(battery is also removeable)

Earphones supplied with mp3 players tend to be pretty poor quality but the ones that come with the Zen are surprisingly good.

Got it about 3 months back, best mp3 player i've ever bought

The only thing i don't like about it is the battery life isn't the 12 hours they state, more like 6 hours

The Pocketdab 2000 has only 64MB and Revs Creative Zen Micro has 5GB (and a good battery). Thats all we need to know...
    ... other than the price...

What you need to know is apples and oranges.

This is a removable memory card not a hard drive (I don't think ipod shuffle is removable). It comes with 64mb SD memory card - larger can be bought. This is also a digital radio: DAB radio. - and can be recorded while on the move. I say this blows away ipod for the simple fact you aren't stuck with only 512mb or 1 GB, you have removable memory cards.

They already have 1gb memory (2gb?) Here's the roadmap
