Headset modification needed
I have a new job which required me to purchase a noise cancelling microphone/headset combo. to plug into my computer. I bought two types, one for training with VoIP software and one for live calling that I would use long term. The VoIP heaset/mic combo plugs into the ports on the back of the computer and works just fine.
I recently took the new, padded comfortable set I plan to use next month, out of it's box and decided to give it a go.
To my dismay it has only one 2.5mm jack which, first: doesn't fit the ports in the back of the computer and 2) isn't split in two so one jack can go to the speaker and one to the microphone.
Please tell me that there is an adapter that will split and resize this jack so I can use this terribly expensive, but comfortable headset soon.

Yes. Yes there is such a tool. I found it myself! It's called the COMPUTER HEADPHONE SPEAKER SWITCH. Radio Shack carries just the right kind that I need.

Good job Rushenee... but why would the good headset only come with one plug... what was the brand/model?
