    connecting to msn with ubuntu

    i tried to connect to msn using minicom i get alogin/username screen i type the username but when i type the password it say bad password now it wont let me type in the password. msn uses MD5chap i use pap and chap is this a protocol thing or an ms thing

    I was successfully able to connect to MSN under Mandrake using Kmess. It worked perfectly.

    I dun't know how it will work with Ubuntu though.

    Ubuntu live connects fine for me.

    kmess is kde right i have the gnome desktop itried installing gnome-ppp-0.3.21 but when i get to ./configure it says it needs GTK2.0 amd libgnomeui which are already installed but the program cant find them
