What Fonts are not supposed to be deleted?

I read some Fonts are not supposed to be deleted. I have a long list of fonts

that I don't want. It just makes it harder to find the fonts I do want. I would like

to remove Fonts I don't like.

    Thanks

remove any fonts you don't like, just make sure you leave Times New Roman, Verdana, and some of the other system fonts like MS Outlook, etc. usually is any application finds a font missing after this, it will ask you to download that one particular font which should take about half a second, so go ahead free your hard disk .

You could use a free program called X-Fonter to do the job. It makes the task much easier by previewing the fonts and warning you about system fonts.

Correction: Apparently, it's no longer freeware (though it might do the job).

It is a great program for manging fonts. I knew there must be a free older version somewhere but I was too lazy to look, so thanks for the link

edit: dead link May be it's my mistake and there was no free version in the first place
