    Fred Langa talks system security

His latest newsletter arrived at my inbox five minutes ago. It contains an important item dealing with system security. He memtioned an experiment in which a slow 500 MHz computer using a free password cracker was able to crack the password "ChEcK12" in 26 seconds. Some examples of passwords and the amount of time required to crack them is found here. LINK

I once wrote an article about that topic. Passwords like T3C#_z0nez would take forever to crack. At the same time, it's not too complicated to remember.

    P.S. LC4 isn't a free utility.
