XP grinds to a halt
Over the last few days I've noticed that my main computer and my 2nd computer are slowly but surely grinding to halt where as my laptop is flying along. I've taking an absolute age to load websites and read e-mails although the first 5 minutes or so on each machine is very fast. Are there any diagnostic tools I can run to help me identify the problem?

First thing i would do when i nontice a computer geting slow is run all my utilities (anti-virus/spyware, defrag, disk clean, and registry clean). If those dont work then i would check out some diagnostic software.

Sorry for late reply, didn't have much chance to get on the net last week. Will do. I'm starting to wonder if it's my broadband connection. I had both PC's running this morning and they were flying along. By lunchtime the computers had slowed down and I had to swap over to the laptop. will try and download a broadband speed tester as well.
I'm on a 1mb connection here's the speed test from adslguide.org
Downstream 949 Kbps (118.6 KB/sec)
Upstream 245 Kbps (30.6 KB/sec)
