    Hello folks! I'm part way back. To be honest with you I was trying to boot with a MS Frontpage CD! LOL! They look so much alike with kind of a hologram finish. I ended up doing a clean XP Pro install with the help of FASTGAME. Consequently I lost alot of good stuff - nothing that time won't get back though. What I gained is more experience and a clean install - the last install was "unclean" - so I think i'm better off anyway. Well i'm off to do the MS updates. Thanks for all your help! And thank you! Mr. Fastgame for your generousity and your time.

    **one thing that bothers me a little is the fact that there is no longer any fan speed control - so it's running fast. The Sony XP installation has a "thermostatic" type of fan speed control.**

    I don't know whats the fuss...isn't that one of the services you get for our membership dues $$$

    Anyway it turned out to be something that needed to be worked out over phone or messenger.....dam FrontPage CD....the'll do it to ya every time
