Wink Hard drive in the Freezer tip

When trying to restore data from a hosed HDD, one user got a little jiggy with the freezer method:

i have heard reports that it works.

Another one for slightlt static burnt computer parts is to put them in a washer without the swival and use dish soap and run it through a the cycle and put in an ovan at 350 or something to dry it out and many parts in some guys computer store worked again lol

Im not saying that this doesnt work i just meant the part where they actually put the HDD in a container of water without sealing it inside of a plastic bag or some sort of moister barrier Water/Ice inside electrical hardware=not a good idea
