System : Windows 2000 pro

How it happened : Tried to install a HD in slave to backup the files from that HD.

The error happened immidiately after installing that second disk.

Tried already : 1. Safe mode
2. Safe mode with command prompt
3. Last good configuration known
4. Remove all hardware devices (including changing memory
slot) (excluding video card)
5. System recovery from boot menu

Solution found: NONE !!!!

Any ideas anyone ?????

Really desparate because i really don't want to loose any documents on C:
