PC Network freeze up
Hi we have a XP Pro PC with 256 ram and plenty of available HD space. Once a day , sometimes every other day we are unable to browse in or out of the pc through the network. The following error is received:
"insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service"
In the event viewer their are the following errors:
Event ID 2020
The server was unable to allocate from the system paged pool because the pool was empty
A reboot temporarily solves the problem.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tim

I increased the page file size to the max (512mb) and I'm watching it. A weird thing is the CPU utilization is steady in the 70% to 80%, with nothing running and hard drive quiet.
