    Spoof/filter/block MAC address

Does anyone have experience in spoof/filter/block - ing MAC addresses? I've researched this topic and some suggest changing it in the registry while others suggest installing software to do the trick. I'm 'leary' about messing with the registry and even more suspicious of installing software. What do you guys think?

I assume you're speaking of blocking MAC addresses thru your router?

I want to hide my MAC address whenever and wherever I'm online.

If you want to be untraceable then rest assured you won't be untraceable. There are utilities available to enable you to set your MAC address to whatever you want but that is far from being the only way that you can be traced.

When up to no good use an Internet Cafe.
I'm using Windows 7 - you got a problem with that?
