IE 7 - Who has tried it? Troubles?

Has anyone tried IE7 on an XP system and if so has anyone experienced any issues?

Everyday I spend so much time trying to find my way back home because I have 30-40+ windows open (No joke, seriously) and I really need tab browsing. Firefox, I know, is an alternative but back on version .9 or something I tried it and it would have hiccups when I tried opening links from URLs within an e-mail. I need a tab setup on my browser that will work without any issues.

    Any ideas or feedback?

Opera 8.5 is very stable. I have abandon FireFox for now because of issue like what you have mentioned Chris. There is a version of Oprea that is the full one with no adds and it is Free.

I have downloaded Firefox, but have not installed it. Google seems to think quite highly of them with all of the add-on products for google desktop

have you tried crazy browser just a tabbed skin for IE. I use to use opera too, but found that there are more extentions and ad ons for FF.

I also use Slim Browser. Built in tabbed browsing, pop up blocker, script blocking url filtering, plus skins you can download. Pretty cool for a free browser.

I have tried IE 7 for a while. No problems I can remember.

edit: if you use lots of tabs, stay away from IE 7, Opera and Firefox. Use Avant instead - it handles tabs much more well:

See how opening several tabs creates a new line in Avant, so you can still see the title and icon, while in the other browsers the tabs keep shrinking.
