XP Home vs. Pro for X2 cpu

Does anyone know how much of a performance boost I can see by switching from XP home to Pro? I have the AMD X2 4200 processor and work with Digital Audio production. The task manager shows two processors and they move separately during tasks. Also confirmed this with Mem Pro's CPU meter. Bottom line is: "Does it make that much stinkin difference?"

The XP 64 Edition is suppossed to give you a greater performance boost.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
