    Testing Puppy Linux

This is the fastest version that I have tried. Click the mouse and almost instantly see the next screen.

I am now testing it with a live CD. So far I like it and recommend others give it a try.

    ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/puppylinux/

It is streamlined with the bare basics for software.

I did find the initial setup a little harder than other distributions. I had to tweak my internet/network/eth0 settings to get to the net.

I might give it a go. I like testing these new Linux breeds.

note: new in this sense, means new to me. As in, I have never tried them before, new does not in any way confirm newness as in fresh to the scene, first responder, time to call in the big guns, etc...
