    External HDD Encryption

Iím looking for a program to secure my file on an External HDD. What would you guys suggest. I would like it to encrypt all file structure. To keep unwanted users out of the data. But also allow a group of user controll over it. So dose any one have any ideal on a good software to use for this?

Encryption - as with most security - is a double edged sword. You can end up being locked out of your own data if you don't backup the decryption keys and keep them safe. Also as with all backup strategies you MUST test it because the time to find out it didn't work is not when you have to rely on it!

How many times have I seen people try to restore a backup only to see the fatal words 'file xxx is corrupted or an unknown format' - it still makes me giggle.
I'm using Windows 7 - you got a problem with that?
