Best surface for laptops
I was just wondering if there were some rules/guidelines for keep laptops cool. I know the best way is to get one of the cooling base-stations. I'm concerned about if you just set it down somewhere. I know putting on sheets or something is a bad idea. But, for example, I found this weird frame thing that is spaced just right so the feet of the laptop sit up on it. This leaves about a 1/4-1/2 inch of a gap between the computer and the table. Is this better than just having it sit on the table? I was just curious because I noticed before that the table would get pretty hot, and I didn't know if the table was conducting some of the heat away or just suffocating the computer. Thanks!
