Unhappy Boy, 12, dies after Disney coaster ride

MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- A 12-year-old boy was pronounced dead after he rode a roller coaster at Disney-MGM Studios in Orlando, Florida, on Thursday, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Michael Russell, of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, was riding the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster ride with his mom, dad and 7-year-old brother, Sgt. Carlos Torres said. After the ride stopped, Russell and his family were stepping out of the roller coaster car when he collapsed, Torres said.

I used to live in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.. small world. I wonder what caused this kid's death? A brain aneurysm? Stroke? Heart attack? I wonder...

I guess we'll find out on Friday.

Indeed a sad and unfortunate loss.

I've been on a couple of their rides in CA, and there were a few times when the seat belt or bar restraint, was loose or ill-fitted.... on some negative G humps, it felt like i would fly out and no-one would find me!! Scary, yet exhilirating!

I think with more deaths like this, everyone will need a medical examination before you walk into the amusement park!
