My other user cant use messanger
I have 2 users in my XP one is me the other i created and put that user in the 'user' group which means restricted.
Now in my account i can open and log in windows messanger but when i log into the other account i see messanger in the programs list but it wont open. Is this an XP bug or is there a way around.

run GPedit.msc and check your user permissions.
Last night, I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I'll never know.

Thank you very much for your reply. After sending the mail i experimented some and came up with the following solution:
In "Documents and Setting" i looked into the "Start Menu" of the other user and saw no Windows Messanger shortcut in the "Programs" folder
But there was a shortcut in the "Start Menu" of my folder and the "All User" folder
I just copied the shortcut from my folder to the users "Program" forder in the "Start Menu" and wallah.....the user can open messanger now.
By the way I opened the GPedit but how do u give permisiions to a particular user?
Thanks again
