    ie 6.0 unexpected shutdown

Hi, 3 win2k pc's on my network have developed a unique problem. After a short period of time browsing an error screen will pop up and ie will terminate. The last time it happened I recorded the following:
    Error signature: AppName: iexplore.exe
    Mod/Ver 6.0.2800.1561
    AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106
    ModName: mshtml.dll

These machines all have current updates installed, fully scanned with updated antivirus software, anti spyware software, including ad-aware and HijackThis.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Tim

Have you got this update installed?

Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer (918899)

Your IE version numbers look a bit out of date.

    Current version is 6.0.2900.2180

Thanks, I found the workaround about unchecking "use HTTP 1.1", and that seemed to fix the problem. Also it looks like MS is releasing and update today 8/22 to fix this.
