    A program screws up; are new drivers sometimes ESSENTIAL?

    Sometimes, a program that has been working just fine screws up. A common recommendation in such a situation is to download the latest drivers. Okay, that makes sense but wouldn't the program just work if you just reinstalled it?
    I've created my own website...a collection of moving, sad and happy and humorous poems which I would like to share with others. They come from stories my dad used to tell me when I was a kid.     Software conflicts are one of the main reasons things stop working, that and people messing with things.

    My #1 rule, updates, I never apply any updates (except security) untill I've read the change log. If updates don't have any vast improvement, or address an isuue that effects me, I dont update. New isn't always best, "Leave well enough alone"
