    Norton Virus

A virus slows down your PC.
A virus injects it's code into other processes.
A virus interferes with your network connections.
A virus is difficult to be rid of.
There is one other organism which behaves this way - and now it detects itself

Hmmm, no other AV even comes close to the market share Norton enjoys.

Last year NOD32 detected Norton as virus, they said it was a FP, was it

Switched one of my rigs to NAV a couple of years ago and swore by it till a couple of months ago when my system started blue screening. Then I removed the NAVW32.exe virus with NAV remover wrote by Norton, and replaced with Bitdefender9.All is well again.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
