    Mozilla Firefox 2.0 Final

Firefox is a free, open-source and cross-platform web browser for Windows, Linux, MacOS X and other operating systems. It is small, fast and easy to use, and offers many advantages over other web browsers, such as the tabbed browsing and the ability to block pop-up windows.

how has people's experience been with FF2.0? If always liked it, and great features. But since installing i've been getting lots of FF crashing out. And when trying to re-open FF, the exe starts to load in task manager, but then crashes out again. The only way to start is to reset computer, or start FF in safe mode, then close, then reopen normally.

Anyone seen a problem like this?

I have 2.0 installed on 4 computers and have not noticed a single problem. The only issue i have with it is how the tabs work now. Each tab has an individual icon for closing it. This I like. However, when they added these icons, it now makes me scroll to see the tabs.. (they are not all visible unless I hit the scroll left or right buttons)...

Before in 1.5.X they were all visible and it made switching from tab to tab quite easy...

It's more of an annoyance than a trouble.

Cash_site, did you by chance install over the previous version? If so, it might be good to completely remove firefox and then go 2.0

What extensions are you using? It could be a rogue extension screwing it up?

I installed and have had no problems. The tab annoyance is the only drawback. As far as speed,I think even IE 7 is slower than version 6 because of the security improvements, and FF 2.0 slowed down a bit too.I also like the fact that there are more themes to chose from now.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

my tabs are the same as they always were

In Tab Mix + options, Display> When tabs don't fit width> Multi-row (instead of scroll button)

I don't use Tab Mix. (without that extension it defaults to a scroll button ) But thanks for the suggestion, as I am looking at installing it.

yeah I don't like the individual tab closing thing. Kinda looks like a copy of IE now.
