PowerPoint will automatically save your presentations for you at a specified interval. This allows you to recover your presentation if tragedy strikes.

You can enable this option and check the interval at which presentations are saved using the steps outlined below. The default interval at which files are saved is 10 minutes.

1. Open PowerPoint.
2. From the Tools menu, click Options.
3. Click the Save tab.
4. Verify that there is a check beside the ‘Save AutoRecover info every’ option.
5. Use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the interval.
6. Click OK.

PowerPoint will now save your document for you at the specified interval.
