MySpace to test new service for online videos
News Corp.'s MySpace, a social networking Web site, will begin testing a new video service that will compete with Google Inc.'s YouTube.
MySpaceTV will serve as the site's primary video channel, combining personal and licensed videos, the company said today. The recently announced Minisode Network, which features shortened episodes from hit TV shows, will operate under the new platform.
