Question How do I setup my ftp server?

    Hi please help me ,

I'm trying to setup my ftp server. I'm using BulletProof ftp v2.5.0.37,
and using a Linksys Router. How do I setup the port forwarding for
my router and how do I know what passive port range to use on bpftp?
I just need help. I've tried everything. Thanks.

I assume you have followed their instructions here?

    http://www.bpftpserver.com/support/m...server/windows

You may also need to look at the Linksys website for instructions for your specific router.

just a reminder you should have a static IP address for the server and then choose a port for your ftp service and forward it to that IP address

Also check out www.no-ip.com, they have a good service for dynamic updating of your IP and you get a URL.. e.g. MyFTP.no-ip.org
