I was just curious, if the 100mbit/sec limit on an ethernet cable didnt exist in most homes - how much can an average computer handle?
i dont think im asking this question correctly. i apologize.
reason i ask is my friend told me the other day that computers cant even or dont even utilize all the bandwidth from my cable connection...but i found that to be kinda odd, because it's obviously faster DL'ing things then dial-up.
i dont think he was talking about the cap placed on most connections..i think he was talking about the bandwidth that you get from a basic cable internet package.
i hope theres a question in there somewhere...and someone is able to shed some light on this. a trivial issue, just curious.
