Thanks gents. I have the message off now. My concern is that there is a problem with my OS. I have been reloading and fixing programs for a week now and that seems to be all I can get done.
Virus maybe but if it is I can not locate it........ The same programs are starting to get corrupted all over again now.. WEIRD...

if you have a fujitsu harddrive it might be the norm

    if its maxtor

    try the maxtor diagnostic disc

it will let youy know if your harddrive is getting corrupt

if your harddrive is getting hot
you might be into bigger problems later

    also

turn on smart drive in the bios

    btw

if your system is made by via

    update all your drivers asap

    virus scan every week

    keep us upt o date!

    Promise RAID FastTrak TX2000 card.
    4 Maxtor HDDs (1 is 100 and the other 3 are 133).
    S.M.A.R.T. is enabled on everything.
    Extra Cooling for all HDDs.
    Virus scan runs daily.

I do have to synk the RAID once a week and defrag.

I have updated the BIOS on the ASUS P4T system board to 1006 but most of these problems were around before the BIOS update.

    I will keep you posted....
