    Microsoft boosts XP on budget PCs

    Microsoft is cutting the cost of putting Windows XP on low cost laptops.

    The price cuts will only be available for ultra-portable laptops that meet a strict set of specifications.

    Interesting, think it'll work? Don't they own like 90% of all the operating system userbase?

    seems to me that thay have got the manopoly anyway
    i use a mac g4 myself
    so just stick with it i think
