control panel shortcut
I was wondering if there is a way to make a shortcut (on DT and/or key) to the control panel.

Right click the Control Panel icon in "My Computer" and select "create shortcut".
If you don't have the control panel in My Computer, open windows explorer and go to Tools > Folder Options. On the view tab scroll down the menu and select "Show Control Panel in My Computer",click apply.

To make a shortcut key.
Right click the newly created desktop shortcut icon and select properties. On the shortcut tab click inside the "Shortcut Key" box (it should have the word "none" inside it) and then press whichever key you want to use. Then click apply.
Remember,by default all desktop shortcuts are pre-fixed with CTRL+ALT
So if you choose C
the shortcut key will be CTRL+ALT+C
Thought i'd explain it just incase you didn't already know.
