    re: Denyse

I am sorry to tell everyone that Denyse's recovery has taken a turn for the worse. Her muscles are not responding as were expected. She will be transfered to a different hospital this weekend, where her "uncle" is on staff.

I will let you know more when I am able.

I must really be behind the times. Didn't know anything was wrong.

So sorry to hear this. She's a great addition to our little place on the interwebs.

    Best Wishes to her.

This was Denyse's Pm to me about the car accident last May 25:

I was "T-Boned" by a Hummer H1 and a jerk that was almost dead from drinking too much. He walked away without more than a scratch. I got both legs and one shoulder dislocated and some internal injuries.

The air bags worked as well as they could, but the officer said if I was not in a full 5 point harness I would have been killed.

It was a dry clear day, from what I can remember. I do know that he had blown through about a dozen stop signs and the cops were out looking for him, which was lucky for me, as they got to me right after the accident. I do not remember much more. "Farquard" was in the car behind me, and thank goodness he was there.

    Denyse,

Thanks for the explanation of your accident and injuries. I had wondered about the extent of your injuries since the first time you mentioned the accident. Until now my imagination had run wild. I had envisioned spinal injuries and wheel chairs.

Thank goodness that is not the case. Determination, hard work, and support will be important during your healing period. You will have to supply the determination and accomplish the work. Your friends here at TZ will help with the support. Keep a positive attitude and keep us updated.

I know from experience that car wrecks are a long heal. I still have pain from one in 2001. Of course, I'm an old guy... ;-)

As soon as they will let her have a computer in her room, I will get her online (the UPS man willing to get here by then).
